In 2013 she completed Long Term Suzuki Teacher Training at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut.

Libby began teaching in 1998 and has had studios ranging in size from 15 to 60 in Utah, Massachusetts, and most recently in South Carolina. Her Teacher Trainers include Edmund Sprunger, Edward Kreitman, Linda Fiore, Cathy Lee, Gabe Bolkovsky, Teri Einfeldt, Charles Krigbaum, Allen Leib, and Mark Mutter. An advocate for teacher training and continuing education, she frequently participates in local conferences, the biannual SAA Conference and biannual Starling-Delay Teaching Symposium at Julliard.

She feels it is very important to be actively involved in the musical community she lives in—meeting and collaborating with fellow teachers, volunteering at local school programs, and participating in community orchestras and ensembles. She was a member of the Orchestra on Temple Square from 2001-2010 in Salt Lake City Utah. She most recently played with the Vista Philharmonic Orchestra (in Groton, MA) and the Plymouth Philharmonic (in Plymouth, MA).
